What is Project Pivot?
My name is Maya Schwalb and I am a graduate Industrial Designer. During my final year, I undertook a project that aimed to significantly improve the hospital transport experience for both patients and healthcare staff. The result is Pivot, a revolutionary hospital transport chair.
Pivot addresses the crucial need for efficient, safe, and patient-centered transfers in hospitals.
Key features include:

Bi-directional functionality: Enables attendant-facing and traditional push-from-behind transfers.

Height adjustment: Facilitates easy transfers to and from beds and ensures comfortable eye contact between patient and attendant.
